Interest in flares

Post by Soundsgood »

I have been watching this with interest as I am in the same situation. Have repaired the existing flares so many times it no longer funny and after the last outing (OBC) I don't really have enough bits to put the rear ones back together.
Has there been any progress?

Nothing done yet, will probably need a hand with this one, couldn't see why tha Rangie Spares ones couldnt be made solid, would be heavier but stronger. If there was enough interest Kevlar ones could be made, but design would have to be changed or would have to speak to Andrew at LRA but don't like the chances of him letting us copy his

Ripping a mould on the weekend and will have prices on Monday.

Have a few ideas on how to change the part so as to not upset LRA.

Hey, that's excellent Chris. I would have thought that even if they were the same shape but made of a different matierial that would be different enough.

PS. have you checked you diff yet?
Thanks,

Adam

LOL. I am more interested in whether it is just the axle that was stuffed or whether you have done thepinion gear as well.

Ian has already ordered maxi axles, I think he is sick of breaking the standard ones.
Thanks,

Adam

Ok Adam, I'll rip it out tomorrow. I hope it is the crown wheel or pinion and not the locker
