GQ panhard bushes

Post by mabsydney »

Guys,

I'm getting the run around from Nissan, can somebody clear this up for me?

I need new panhard bushes for the GQ (I have snake adjustable panhards). I want to go genuine, but apparently GQ ones aren't available anymore.

Are GQ and GU bushes the same as I'm being told or is somebody feeding me BS?

Well I was told Mannell's bushes are shite, mine need replacing after less than a year....and it hasn't been exactly flogged.

I haven't actually been in touch with Nissan direct it's through my mechanic, but somebody is feeding me BS, just not sure who :(

my unserstanding of nissan panhard bushes were that gq to gu were different, however i no that series 1 gu's have smaller bushes than series 2 and 3 so maybe they are the same as the gq ones. MAYBE?

I have bought three sets of panhard rod bushes off Blackburn Nissan for GQ's within the last couple of months so you can get them. Blackburn Nissan are in Melbourne and the cost was 30-35 dollars i think.

Panhard bushes
55135-01J01 top (small hole)
55135-01J10 bottom (large hole)

Quote those numbers... youll need one of each if you are doing front and back. As has been said before parts people know absolutely nothing does he know how to use the computer ??.. Tell the guy to just shutup and order these numbers..

Yeah i got a pair from Brighton Nissan only a couple of months ago. around that price(??)

sounds like your mech might be either lazy or trying to stitch you on nolethane(sp?) shite. probably a bigger mark up in price
