How hard have you looked at MQ diffs? The front diff will pretty much bolt in. There rear is a bit tougher, but it is only spring pads. MQ's are far cheaper, easier to fit and have better ratios if you find 4.6 (petrol) diffs.
MQ's are a good width, the rear diff is offset, and whole donor cars (also nets the master cylinder and double cardan driveshaft) will be cheaper than one hilux diff.
Most people get pretty obsessed by the idea of hilux because they are much sexier than MQ but it is hard to look past the MQ when you measure and do the sums. Even the rear LSD in the MQ/MK is far superior to
For SPOA MQ is a PITA.
As far as I recall, Maruti have wide track spring spacing. If you have NT spring pad width, it can still be done but does require spacing the front springs out like a WT. You will be doing a lot more work than this if you go hilux.

I got a longside axel cut down and splined, cost about $125, Mq stuff is cheep, usualy costs me about $50 for a CV and inner axel, or can usually get whole diffs cheep too
