I don't think the christies ever used the HP rear deal on their own vehicles, their are a few around though.. Someone on this board has a shorty with this done, I am sure???
I almost forgot about the H290.. That is by far the strongest Japanese front axle ever Lacking some ground clearance though

4x4 Nissan Civilian buses, Rhys (planB) on the board here I think knows something about them from some story he was researching, I am sure it was him telling me about one he found or something?? Probably too big to be of much use??

Where did you look? Ages ago when Rhys penned his article, I also searched the net arduously, but to no avail.
It is possibly as rare as the Dyna 4WD trucks, from which Glen Dobbin sourced his front knuckles and birfield joints for his FJ45 utility with 9" centre sections and portals. (of Tuff Truck and Dobbin Engineering Fame)
