If you look at the under side of the lid it will tell you what fuse does what. the fuse will have its rating printed on it.

Do you have an instrument fuse inside the cabin fuse panel?

Not being accusing, but you didnt happen to acidentally hook your battery up the wrong way momentarily before you realised the error of your ways??

Is there a fusible link basically straight off the battery lead? It will look just like a piece of wire? Im not sure if you rig has got them, but its worth a shot. Other than that, I'm out of ideas.

Did you disconnect the regulator, or is it part of the alternator?

Can you start the car?
Are you getting power to anything in the car ?

If you can't start it check that you conected the power cable that runs to the startermotor if it cranks over but wont start check the fusable link this will be in the fuse box in the engine bay.

Why do you think the alternater is blown
