Removing fibreglass canopy on 84runner.

Post by alexcliffo »

I was wondering how hard this was and if there are any tricks.

I was gonna do it next weekend and only have 3/4 of a day.

Just after some feedback from those who have done it. Is there any exhust smell in the cab? How heavy is it?

Any comments appreciated

Cheers :)

Takes about 30 minutes and becareful not to break the plastic surrounds as there get fragile when they get older, and lifting it off you will need a second person, all depends were the exhaust is but it should be fine

What he said.

also, if you haven't had it off before, it's a good chance to check for rust. mud etc gets in under the canopy and they like to rust around the bolt holes.

Very Easy job though...
