if you can go and hire a few, pick what ideas you like, and measure them up while your at it.. otherwise you may build something you dont like EG where the kitchen is etc>...
thats what Damige on here did.. but he got a rude shock on canvas prices.. first was $6500... second $4000+... could buy a used one for that :(
I travelled in a camper trailer for six months across the top end. I will be building one early next year. Ideas to date. Solid axel using 80 Series leading arms reversed. Cheap easy to get parts, tow behind a solid axel GU. I believe the sugar glide suspension pictured on 4WD monthly is too short from the pivot piont to the coil. Any longer and the mounts may be compromised. The one I towed last time had 3mm checker plate gaurds. This one will be a light weight tub on a good chassis. There is recycled plastic panels available that I will use instead of timber for the camper deck. No plastic water tanks!!! Got the taste of rubber in the plastic tank. It took 20 flushes and still there. You could smell it in a cup of MILO
totally orsom and the welding of the other tig welder holy s&it it is artistic in my eyes. All Iam thinking of getting is a primus top and fit it to my trailer i think they are about $2000
