Go to your nearest wreckers dude and get one and fit yourself it aint hard ........
Im thinkin some1 wants your hard earned cash with the prices you qouted for the part let alone the fitting
wouldnt the 92 mod only be carby hence it wont be and efi pump so should cost next to nothing

sorry mate lack of info. it is a 1.6 EFI.
mmm fair enough but a bit of info I bought a complete LWB VIT auto 1.6 efi with arb lockers front and rear and lift for 1500 bucks
Ring the wreckers 2morra
I will ring aswell up here and see if I can help out with the part alteast ......
So your certain the pump inside the tank is farrrked
if so fitting wise at worst drop the tank down 4 bolts as you do this undo plugs to sender and pump /and fuel lines , unscrew pump remove and refit new 1 replug off you go .....but there may well be and inspection plate above the tank (not a hundred percent sure I didnt really look at mine b4 a cut the back off )

How good are ya at fixing cars, I would consider doing it yourself mate. If ya confident, of can ghet some mates that can, would be the best option as far as cost goes.

dont get a genuine pump.
a aftermarket pump will only set you back around $220 retail for a vit..
failing that (as in you dont want to spend those bucks) go to a wrecker and ask for a ford el (or around that model) fuel pump... they almost swap strait in.. should cost around $40 to $80..

ok
so the aftermarket part will fit straight in?
the mechanic didnt know wether this would work so he was recomending the genuine part. if the aftermarket par is easy to install i will go with it. you wouldnt know the brand or part name best suited for it?
thanks for the help
