Guys whats involved in air con removal as i have turned the compressor into an OBA setup and am curious on any pitfalls with the removal of everything else.

nah sheel be right just undo lines at firewall and plug up all lines and fittings in case you wish to put it back on l8tr

agree .. gas lines and maybe the condensor (in front of rad) would be all I woudl remove ... the evap is a royal PITA to get in and out ... plug it up and leave it there is the easiest solution!
If it's worth doing - it's worth doing to excess ...
