Im starting again I've read to many newbie messages on the zook forum. My question is, in general across australia what needs to be done in order to legally have a td2.8 hilux in the way of the dts kits etc. I would ask transport sa but the half an hour on hold is getting hard to handle. Previous replies have stated no. Why would this be the case (other than because), sorry for failed previous attempts of making sense.

cheers

I have never personally heard of this being enigneered before. I would doubt it as the power out put it not astronomical so highly doubt it would require it. Especially seeing they have the 2.4 n/a and turbocharged as also with the 3.0.

No engineers report needed, getting myn done in 3 weeks down at woolongong, turbo glide even NRMA insurance will cover it as even with turbo running 8 pound boost will still not be a power house, you'l find most diesels dont require an inspection for after market turbo's on diesels here in NSW any way.
