TRansmission oil - where do I put it?????

Post by drewe »

Hey all

Image

The side of the transmission has 4 bolts on it. From the top

- The top one is a big one like an adjuster, I would say no to this one?
- The middle two are smooth on the outside and have like a massive allen key inside - again no??
- The last one at the bottom is a normal 'bolt' but pretty low? Is this the one?

Of course the Drain plug is right at the bottom out of view - this photo is taken from where the normal air filter would be (if I wasn't running something non standard!)

My transmission is leaking heaps of oil (since I have a massive stain under the car but the oil level is not going down - it is also a lot blacker than my usual oil) - I need to get some in but don't want to undo the wrong bolt!

Thanks heaps

The bottom most one with the arrow pointing to it. Fill it up until it just starts to flow out the hole. ;)
