4.8 petrols have a H260 coily diff with 4.3 ratios

4.2 deisel utes leaf cabs have H260 with 4.3's (this one also has full floating axles)

2.8 diesels have 4.6 ratios H233

4.5 petrols/4.2 diesel wagons/utes have 4.1's (or 3.9s as i read above... after posting)

GU diffs

Post by justinshere »

I wanna put a GU rear into my lux. I my exact ratio is 4.300:1

I want full floaters so i think this is what im after...

"4.2 deisel utes leaf cabs have H260 with 4.3's (this one also has full floating axles)" says mickyd555

But what if the ratio is 4.375 my lux is only 4.300 ..... Wont this casue problems????

Why don't you put GU difs front too, at least you wouldn't break em and you get the flexibility of all the options

Yeah thats the plan. and i think that might be the way to go. rather than do the rear then the front.... that way i can jus go for 4.6s or something...

i got the h260 in my 4.5petrol with 4.1s (before i put 4.88s)
is there any benefit of having the big diff? its a little annoying having the same diff clearance on 35s as my paj has with 33s (the paj has the 9.5" diff but)
