Not to sure what you are asking.

Do you mean using a v6 auto engine infront of a v6 manual transmission?
Or are you sking whether a v6 auto engine will work infront of a 5speed hilux gearbox?

auto engine on hilux box

i got the dellows catalogue infront of me and they appear to do a 6 bolt (auto) flywheel and marks adaptors do a flywheel to suit an auto but i dont know if they mean they do a flex plate

IIRC the S1 VN has an 8 bolt flywheel on the manual and a 6 bolt on the auto. S2 and Ecotec have a 6 bolt an both auto and manual. Marks is definitely a flywheel

WRONG
The series 1 manual and auto are both 6 bolt with a different pdc
Series 2 and ecotec are both 8 bolt with different ballance weights
The Marks flywheel is a lump of steel you bolt to a auto flex plate
The Dellow flywheel is good but a bit on the light side
I dont like the marks flywheel myself so I have been getting heavy nodular iron flywheels cast
