Fold down roof lights

Post by Diehard »

Hi all....I am in the process of making a fold down roof bar for my driving lights. i have noticed a lot of the trucks in the Outback Challenge, Xtreme International etc have fold down bars, but cant figure out how they have done them.

Has anyone got photos of these setups, or a design of a setup (manual or with air-ram) ???

;)

if an air ram is out of your budget, you could look into use some headlight pop-up mechanisms from cars like mazda rx7, nissan silvia and a few others

I'm toying with this idea myself

they're on ebay fairly cheap...just having trouble getting the design right, as its going on a dual cab, above the driver, so space is a premium

I've got some that just swivel upright or facing down, fairly simple design... but I can't help you as long as you have that huge banner in your signature...
