Is it legal to ..........

Post by SASS »

Is it legal to run soft fuel line from the tank to the motor (efi) or do i need to have hard line under the vehicle?
I ask because im putting a 7MGE supra motor into my hilux and have just rerun all the fuel lines. Tank breather line and fuel return line are the standard 6mm ID hard line re worked but the delivery line is 7.5mm ID soft line i have run along side the other lines and zip tied up ( good quality thick zip ties). Just wondering if this will pass when i go for my mod plate?
any opinions please!!

Cheers SASS

i have run soft hoses from the fuel pump which is mounted towards the back of the chassis. They are secured to the top of the chassis, and it passed engineering that way, so i suspect it would be ok.
