Resale is a big one.........my mate only managed to sell his LWB safari yesterday for 3000 bucks. It was an 88 model but was absolutley immaculate. This isnt really a problem if you dont really plan on selling it or so on though.
24v is a slight pain in the arse, just get a 12v inverter for your 12 v items and its all good. There is a 12v feed in the centre of the dash for the stereo but that is the only one I have found. 24v compressors are available so that isnt a concern.
Most, if not all manual safaris come with a PTO winch which is great. Have used mine many a time for various recoveries with no hassles.
Suspension parts and the like are all the same as the aussies so that just bolts on.
Cant really think of anything else

so far the stickers i started removing is my first head ache! some one has tryed before me and scaped alot of paint off then restickered it, so the back half were newish stickers and the front 20 year old POS stickers

ps. sorry for going way off topic.
They are the same vehicle mechanically. It is only spec level that is different. The differences are like the differences between a Maverick and a Patrol.
I wouldn't worry about the 24v side of things. You can use the 12v wiring diagram for most things, you just need to figure out the different wire colours. There is a factory 24v to 12v convertor as most of the dash is 12v. I have changed the cig lighter to 12v as well.
