WTF are you doing at school Time spent in Time Zone is time well spent it'll teach you to shoot, drive, fight and learn English the way it is really spoken. You have to do Math (I hope they still call Math, Math.... freakin new homa names all the time) all day so you can make the day last no use running outta 20c (how old am I) pieces early now is there.

the easiest way for you to get this info is to go to a repco or auto pro when they're not busy and ask to have a look at a parts catalogue for, for example, wheel bearings or brake pads or something - some part that all cars/4WDs have - the catalogues have fairly comprehensive listings of model code, start and end year/month of manufacture, engine, etc etc.

there are a lot of hilux and cruiser models.

http://www.off-road.com/tlc/faq/body.html#HD_NM_2 <- a fairly comprehensive list of cruisers but leaves out a few - eg does not mention any prados (early 1990's 78 series, all 90 series), or 100/105 series.

there is a STACK of cruiser info here http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/main_4x4.htm

put google to work.

enjoy.

Go to the "Value" section, pick Toyota, then Cruiser, hilux, etc, and then the year. You'll get more model info than you know what to do with ...
