ATS 4x4 BIG RIVER NAVRUN (Vic) 5/6th August

Post by NavRun »

We finish one comp. and start another- wow what a busy year. This is Hobbzee's and I biggest break for a while- and we sure need it.

Our 2nd last Navrun for this year- time goes fast.

In and around the Big River Valley.

We are taking in a lot of the historical region, so this should be a fun, exciting comp. with a lot to offer, with also spectacular scenery.

ATS Geelong our our proud naming sponsors for this event.

Camping with toilets for base camp along the Big River of course.
Not confirmed but basecamp will either be Frenchmans, Stockmans Reward or near Enochs Point. However our priority would be a better option using Frenchmans/ Stockmans as an easier access from either Warburton or Marysville. Caravans & 2wd cars no problems to get to base.

Remember this is a comp. to suit stock standard to competition rigs, there is no advantage for either. Sorry, this isn't a spectator comp..

Already a good mixture of old and new compeditors.

More details on our website of course www.navrun.com.au
or 03 9789 6985.

Cheers, Rudi

Already 18 teams for this event, newbies making up 50% as well.

Hobzee has vowed to make this a very special one with a very different concept/s.

Its going to be a full house. 20 teams is usually our cut off point, but we will take on a few more teams in case of last minute withdrawels.

Don't miss out on this one, get in now or you may miss out.....

Just have to bring my new navi up to scratch.
Going good so far, it only took him about 20 seconds to find the ON button on the laptop tonight when he called around and I gave him a quick rundown of Ozi

awsome fun

Post by Hobzee »

Just come back from setting up. Rudes came home on a tow truck ... Doh!

Slippery as all hell. Not making you do silly stuff but man did we have fun setting up. We winched up some tracks you are coming down. I'm done with running winch ropes.

Am assuming you all have mud terrains and a sense of humour at a minimum.

Hmm the dunnies are clean there. Even after Rudi they didn't smell. :?

don't let them scre you, its not that bad.

But it is slippery so take it one notch down.

for the records my truck was towed back home because of the front panhard rod bushes were stuffed and she wobbled badly even at 30-40k's.

and who sold them to me?????????? I think we can guess
