A couple of suspension questions...

Post by vanbox »

i am just about to do a suspension lift on my patrol and have a few questions before i do it....

1. i have snake racing lower rear shock mounts.....can i weld them onto the diff while it still has oil (or anything else i should watch out for) in the diff?

2. without "trial and error" does any1 kno wat position i should weld em at? (to avoid fouling the springs etc on a 6")

there is prob more questions i got.....but that will get me started...

thanks every1

This should be in the NISSAN Tech section...

I think it's better to keep oil in your diffs when welding for heat reasons.. prolly just change it after you finish to be safe
