Landcruiser problem - Hazards flash 16 times after locking

Post by ThaCruiser »

Hey guys, it started today and I was wondering if it might be an electrical fault or some kind of reminder.

1999 100 Series Landcruiser Petrol. When i get in the "Door Open" indicator stays on and when I try and lock the vehicle with the central locking, the hazards flash 16 times. The doors remain locked.

Any ideas?

Cheers

One of your door switches or wiring is faulty or needs adjusting. The vehicle thinks a door is still open / ajar and that's why the locking modules is warning you by flashing the indicators.
