Fuel Consumption

Post by Toli »

I have TD 80 series with 32 in muddies on it. I also still have the roof racks on.

I am getting abit over 13 litres per 100km's

I am only using the main tank so I am getting about 600 km's out of it before I have to put about 80 litres in it.

what is everyone else getting?
Dave, Nat, Braiden, Ethan and now Elizabeth

Bye Bye 80 Series............Hello XR6T

Sounds pretty good to me... I don't even get close to that!!
I've got a turboed 1hz in mine and i'd be lucky to get 16L/100km on highway driving.
Just got 450km out of 70L ($100) doing a bit of everything.

moonman have you checked your injectors??? my 1hz turbo gets around the 550-600 mark depending on how it's driven. only if i sit at 120+ on hwy then it drops to about 450.

That tank did about 200km of highway driving @ say 115km/h
50km of 1st and 2nd gear driving through rough hill tracks.
120km towing a 1 tonne boat @ 100km/h and the rest normal driving.

No I haven't had the injectors checked, nor have i had it tuned since
I bought it. Has heaps of power so maybe my boost is too high?
