Johnny G driving the last waterfall on upper helldorado!

Post by bj on roids »

Hi guys, all stolen from pirate.

http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthre ... ost1863610

Anyways, like I said he did it, 104" WB i believe. Everybody knows the WMS CJ that drove it at 125" so here is a pic and a quote:

"Yeah, its old news, but I finally found a picture of John climbing that last waterfall on upper Helldorado. From this position, he nailed the throttle and popped up and over. Nobody got any pics of that, it happened so damn fast. "

So here it is Johhny-G on the final waterfall of Upper-H, with an auto G-Box, and an Atlas T-case........

HAHAHAHA!!

I would love to know how he drove it, was it crawling or crawl and then punch it. You can see the lip/rock that causes the problems under the front passengers side wheel,

Its a combination of slow speed crawling, and nailing it. Above I described as best to my knowledge how he got up. It is quoted.

I think the best way and most likely way he got up there was by just CRAWLING IT!!!

Am I seeing things or has he got the winch cable hooked to the front housing as to stop the front from extending (and going over backwards) If I read throught the thread I`d possibly find the answer but I couldn`t be bothered.

This sounds like a more realistic approach,
Where FUG is DUDE with VID cam :bad-words:

Guts Your probly just waiting for a dumb arse answer so you can flame somone but, O lotta dudes been using the cable to pull there front ride hieght down a bit for such obsticles,it effectiveley lowers there centre of gravity,f/r . Also elimenates some bounce.
Such as his 104 wb @ normal ride hieght = x cog , Which is Taller Than
The other guy who drove it at 131 wb @ normal ride hieght =a lower COG
When he pulls the ride Hieght down on the 104 its Cog is equall to or better then the 131wb @ its normal ride hieght.
But all of this is irrelavent unless the guy can drive his selected WB COG on the limits Which JOHNY G can Obvously DO
Give ME THE VID . STILLS SUCK. :bad-words:
I hope the vid has good audio to :)

I can tell you that WB is not built to "crawl" that type of ledge.
Guts the winch on the front axle..... OMFG welcome to last year!
The front tyres may have water in them too!!

Ya Ya water in front tyres is an old thing, shit our tractor that we had when I was 10 had water in its rear tyres.

As for the winch cable thing, ya well I don`t go to pirates very often anymore and I have better things to do then sit on the net all the time, I have Grand theft auto Vice City on PS2 :D

I have completed GTA Vice city, 100%

anyways, yeah I am aware the water in the tyres is very old, and even thought you would pick on that point. I just pointed it out for your benefit. But clearly you already know. So for what reason were the tyres water filled in the rear of your tractor? Do you know?

Nice pic.

I know fuel injection is prefered over carbi engines due to the angles involved in rock climbing but what about the engine oil pick up ?

Or mayby you just try not to stay like that for too long !

Don't even need that bigger angle for the pickup to run dry. It sounds terrible when it happens but that's just more incentive to drive the fark outta there. Funly enough, my pickup has run dry whilst the carby is still good.
