Foam Cell with silver back firewall insulation

Post by tbjaus2000 »

Can anyone please help me!

I am after some of the heat insulation, it has a 10mm foam with solid backing tin layer to reflect. A lot of boat builders apparently use it.

WHO SELLS THIS STUFF!!!

I bought some for my house extension.

Insulation places sell it in foils. I think its called foilboard but I could be wrong. Its got silver foil on one side. I bought 15mm but you can get 12mm, dunno about 10mm??

Should be easy to find, just get the yellow pages out for insulation retailers.

clark rubber mate in inch and half inch thickness, 40 and 28 $ per meter respectively (about 1300 wide from memory)

Just used some to line the bag in for my waeco and the fridge works about 1/3 as much as it used to to maintain temp :)
