2.4 Ltr Pajero?

Post by Overkill »

Was out and about and came across this truck at a dealers place here in NZ. There seems to be nothing in Tech info Base on the 2.4, maybe not a popular model. Probaly a bit more economical with todays fuel prices :) though. Couple of photos for the non-believers.

2350cc sounds like the 4G64. As seen in late model Tritons, amongst others. There has been a little discussion about this motor, like here.

Cheers,

Thanks Scott, seems like it should be a rather economical vehicle to run, especially being a SWB, my partner is on the hunt for a new vehicle and I'm trying to get her into a Paj. Still, I like my 3.5  for the power.

Yep it does indeed exist.
The code name is V21W Gen 2 2400 swb hard top.
It is listed on my Japanese CAPS programme.
It is the only Paj model to have this motor fitted.
Obviously a grey import bought into NZ from the Jap domestic market.
Pretty rare beastie though.
I just luv my "clacker Jabber"
