Solid Axle Hilux Axle Relocation Plates ?

Post by LuxyBoy »

Looking at getting these from Sky Manufacturing
http://www.sky-manufacturing.com/

Just wondering if anyone has used them?
Are they legal?
Are there any foreseen problems with them? (more axle wrap maybe)
Kind Regards,
Brad

If you intend to use these on the front of a SA lux, you can achieve the same fwd movement by redrilling the spring perch on one side as there is already a hole in one of them about 30mm rearward to stock location (= diff fwd 30mm) the only advantage i could see on the front is castor correction if using ext shackles or similar but these spring wedges seem flat and offer no correction.

I was thinking maybe use the existing second hole that is forward a bit and replicate it on the other side on the front perch; then mount these in them to increase track. Do the same on the rear to increase track quite substantially and give better approach/depart angles :D
Just don't know if it will affect anything else moving them this far :?:
Kind Regards,
Brad
