lock rights wanted
I need 2 hilux lock rights NOW !! anyone know who actually has some in stock !!
What sort of tyres are you running and what sort of power or torque will you be putting out.
The reason i ask is i recently blew my locka lockrite apart.
I was running 35 boggers and twin cases with standard 3y engine.
The locker was ok but there are 4 pins that hold it in alignment, these were totally stuffed.
I have been told this is a problem with them, it only cost something like 40 bucks for new pins. But what a pain to change them every 3 or 4 months.
I have already given mine to some mates.
Also what i am talking about is the AUSTRALIAN version, LOCKA LOCKRIGHTS the real AMERICAN version is meant to be much stronger they are called LOCKRITES they are a little bit more expensive.
Hope i haven't confused you to much.

Heh Nick thanks for the offer, If I can find the lockers I might take you up on it.
To be honest I'm helpin a mate who's trying to copy my toy
We've already fitted him up with a Supra, 5.29's and 35 Simex ET's same as mine. Now he wants lockers as well
I've got a US made PowerTrax Lock Right in the front and an Aussie made Lokka, Lock Right copy in the rear. I've been thrashin them for 18 mths now and had no probs with either. The prob with the pins can happen if the gap is to large, seen it happen to a couple of them over here.
I can buy local but they are over $1000.. ouch !!
