i spose the best place to start is what sort of time frame do u intend for these mods? you goign to start them and finish them months later or just do one then drive it then do another etc etc...
and what sort of budget have you got as that will be the limiting factor to your mods.

hey Screwy_ScrewBall, sorry for the mega late reply, but if your still gonna see this but , time frame is soon or later doesnt really matter as it isnt rego'd or anytjhing budget is bout what evar io have to spend to get what i want, like i want it to go good but not crazy, so if i have to spend a bit of money here and their i well prob dont wanna spend over two on the suspension, what could you recomend?
i assume its an swb.....
if your not that well up to the ability to weld and make the bits you need... you will probably be best off with a marks adapter..... as it comes with mounts etc and all you need.
dont worry about transfercase if its an swb. you have to run a married type as a divorsed one wont fit unless u want a 6 inch long rear shaft.
if u want to run a auto with the V8 then u are going to have to loook at transfer adapters....
with regards to suspension..... for the money it really does depend on how good you are at doing it yourself? or will u be paying someone??
wat tyre size do you want to end up with? as this will tell me how much lift you really need....

hey, yeah its a SWB yeah im quite competent at welding and fab i would like to run an auto but i cant find anyone who does the auto to transfer adapter, all are for later models, i can run a manual if i have to just dont want to worry about breaking it, was thinking of 33's or 35's
with the suspension yeah i can make all the shackles and stuff i think look pretty basic:)

i guaruntee u, u will not be able to break an MQ manual box with a drivetrain like that.
adapter wise.
Marks 4wd adapters makes the adapter from turbo 700 to mq transfercase. turbo700 is the auto that runs on the back of most 5 litre injected 308 V8 motors from the commodores.
