Carrum downs is southeast bayside - towards Frankston.

The Pines Templestowe is North East - out near Doncaster.

Just noticed Ironman selling what appears to be the same thing for $799.

Given there's no interstate rooting around this may be a good thing.

Full recovery kit is $290 or so as well.

Bugger it, I'm a price whore. Got the Aldi electric today with the recovery kit. Cheap$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$!

Found the aldi recovery kit today in a sydney store, $79 IIRC, 9m 8000lb snatch strap, 2x Shackles, gloves and sum crappy folding shovel. Considering I paid about $80 for my last snatchy, this seems ok.... any1 heard any good/bad reports on the snatches. I'm a little concerned about cheaping out with this. But the hard case, shackles + gloves would be really handy for the same price as just a strap

They also had the isolator, and winch recovery kit for $99 IIRC but no winches yet

We have the 9500 winches, hand winches, snatch and recovery kits at the wodonga store. I think i might go in and buy myself one since $600 is cheap insurance even if you only use it a couple of times.

The Aldi 9500 winch is just another T MAX winch, only rebadged. Fit heaps of T MAX (badged OX) at tjm, and get more than a few back. Chinese crap v's KNOWN U.S QUALITY. Personally i would spend the 600 on a S/H warn. Play Time 4x4 moto is QUALITY OVER QUANTITY

If anyone is still looking, Aldi at The Pines in Templestowe has about
half a dozen of the 9500lbs electric winches for $599. Saw em there a few hours ago.

The Audi air compressor is no good ,my mates got the TJM's Compressor around $200 that pumped from 10lbs to 35lbs BFG 30" in approx 2 mins 45 secs.
The Audi was six days and twelve nights....
