60 Series injectors

Post by Wilko76 »

Hi All

My old man is looking to get his injectors refurbed. Can anyone recommend a place in Brisbane that does them? Any idea on what the cost would be for 6 injectors? The country town where is lives wants to charge a fortune to do them.

Any feed back is appreciated.

Yup - I've found SMS Diesel Spares at Salisbury to have great prices and are very helpful. Exchange 2H injectors about $395 if I remember rightly. They are suppliers only - no services available.

Just down the road; Rocklea Diesel Injection Service are also very good - they will bench test them for free if you remove them yourself. They also have a workshop & will do the full service bit as well (naturally this will cost). They did remove mine for nix (but I took the head down there in the car boot and had already removed everything else - damn they were in tight, even the rattle gun took a while to shift them). From memory $450 exchange (supply only), $600-ish including R&R.

I can recommend both of the above based on my experiences.
