I'm planning to buy a rockright(full time) locker for mi 79 FJ40, but im not shure to put it font or back, is it any problem if I put it in the front? would it be better to put a powertras "auto locker", my plan in the future is to put the lockright in the front, and the powertrax in the back, or an air locker in the back. The problem is $$$! what would you recomend? Why?

Thanks, I dont have power steering, but I'm looking for something cheap to start, that's why I asked which one you recomend? Or, if I buy a powertrax, is it better to buy first the one for the front or first the rear?

welded diffs arent that bad.
just ride/work the clutch a lil when u are doing tight stuff like parking
1000000000 times better option than anything but an air locker in the front
once you get used to driving with a locker in the rear its easy as

I HAVE A LOCKRITE IN THE REAR OF MY SHORTY, I FOUND THAT YOU HAVE TO LET IT IDLE AROUND CORNERS OR WHEN DOING A TIGHT REVERSE OR IT WILL JERK, WOULDN'T RECOMMEND WELDIN THE REAR FOR A DAILY DRIVER, IT WILL TURN IT A BIT OF A PIG.(BEEN THERE A COUPLE OF TIMES! ) BUT EACH TO THERE OWN. THE UP SIDE TO PUTTING LOCKER IN FRONT IS A GOOD UPPER BODY WORKOUT.
