04 Rodeo Smart Lift 3" dropped IFS lift system

Post by Tiny »

Hi Folks,

On the way is the new 04 rodeo IFS Smart Lift 3" lift kit.

We are due to put the first one in this week and put through engineers, and the Hilux kit has being engineered already so we expect no issues.

Will post pics soon

Adam

Got any more info you can give us Tiny?

What about a kit for the 98-03 R9 series?

Do these kits drop the whole front end 3" down from the chassis?
I wont do a body lift on mine so a drop kit would give me more lift and tyre clearance in the guards but still retain the basic geometry.
Extra wheel travel can also be achieved with shorter bump stops, longer shocks and the ball joint flip.
This would be a good type of kit to go with a rear spring over axle conversion.

cheers

will have alook into the older models, some of these created issues when we got them in we found things that are fine for other markets like excessive wheel spacers etc to clear tie rods were a problem and defficult to change due to cost of the kit and issues with engineering steering changes.
