On the front of a 1st generation the front cross member is back about 2" from the front and is also not square with the rest of a chassis

any one see anything wrong with just getting some RHS and filling the front in, right in front of the stock crossmember, pic below showing frame as it sits

doesn't matter guys going to put a bit of 65x65 RHS in there - then the angle on the hangers get welded to that
