Any reason why a drivers side head would have been put on the passenger side and vice versus. Also why does the EFI manifold block two water jackets at the back of the heads.

clevo 4 barrel manifolds block 2 or 4 waterjackets aswell.

i dont see how they could have been fitted around the wrong way as the ports looks completely different on either side, one is covered in carbon and one isnt being the decider for most.... also one is square the other normally isnt being another.... not to mention most have a different head stud pattern on each side (holden do)
turbos are nice but i'd rather be blown

Why would you say such a thing ?  What were you thinking ? Why try and confuse people ? :finger: :finger: :finger:

LET ME LEARNZ YA!!

Holden , Ford, Chev and many other V8s. The heads are interchangable between banks , both banks have the same bolt pattern. You will find the rear most water passage up against firwall will be blocked off with the manifold.

Yea interchangeable

Best to take the inlet of and drill and tap some 1/4 - 3/8 holes and put some barbed fittings in and plumb bach in just before the thermostat housing, as this will stop you getting hot spots in the rear cylinders

Obviously yours is out of an F truck as the aussie car 5.o had one jacket blocked
