Stripping down 22R carbie

Post by hutzi*RJ70*bundera »

hey there, anyone know a good place on the gold coast, to get my carbie stripped down and cleaned and re-tuned, its coughing and spluttering badly, it has sucked some muddy water through tank though, all clean now, just believe the carby is full of shit, i have tried can carby cleaners down the throat but no good.
on ebay i can get a a carby rebuild kit with all gaskets and little pieces, is this job do-able myself, or anyone on the coast with 1st hand 22R carby experience willing to guide me through it
cheers
