What tires for a fj40

Post by _Mitcho_ »

hey guys

i am just wondering what tyre would be suitable for a daily driven fj40 but will be offroad every few weekends. i was thinking the goodyear wrangler mtr's as i have read they are pretty good on anything except mud, and they wear pretty good too. any suggestions on any other tyre beside's the mtr's. i will be driving on rocks, up dirt/mud hills and maybe some sand.

Do a quick search in gen 4x4 tech on tyres or tires and get some good info. Then after you have read up a bit you can ask a more specific question :D

At this point I would say round tyres would be the go ;)

I heard they give a harsh ride ;)
but what he was saying is you need to be more specific about the type of offroad driving you will be doing :)
