Procomp MT Advice

Post by Smartdigger »

I have been recently looking at some 35's to purchase and think i have found a ok deal at ABT. They are Procomp MT 35x12.5x15 for $340 each but include Procomp series 51 black steel rims.

Can anyone recommend these tyres. I have only really had experience with BF Goodrich MT and want to know before i fork out 1600 bucks. Cheers

I had a set and loved em

lasted ages.. i sold them with around 50,000k's on em and they were prolly still half worn.. they are still rolling around on an 80 too :)

Really good in the mud when they are new.. better than most mudders inc bfg's

cant praise em up enuf.. if they made em in a 37 or 38 to suit a 16" rim id still have em :D

Got a set. Done 65,000 and still going. Quiet on the road ,very good traction in the wet, and still as good as BFG mud. Definetely getting another set. Tyre size is 35x12.5R15

Haha yeah I posted the question first & searched second instead of the other way around.

I guess i forgot to add that the muddies will only be used on the weekend so they will have very little road use, that why the rim deal is so attractive. Thanks for the advice guys. ( I think i already convinced myself to get them anyway)

about to go the new 37 muds on the xterrain carcass, with sidebiters, steer well in gravel, good mud tyre on road, work as well as any offroad.

I found this was an ok deal - comes with rims if you buy 4, not sure if the deal is still current, I have to get a a patrol first! (mission to find a good diesel for good $$$)
