In the wrong section, but L28 4sp will have 4.6:1 diff ratios.

Diesel ute's have 4.8:1 I beleive, but are harder to find.

If you find a 5sp gearbox (I had one forsale but someone has placed a deposit on it already), you can get a slightly higher 1st gear ratio which will be better off road.

You can't get x-fer gears, the next best thing will be to fit a GQ transfer case with rockhoppers.

this has been in the bible over and over again.....

4.6:1 in L28 and SD33 non turbo ( most models )

4.3:1 in Turbo Diesel SD33 ( most models )

4.1:1 in P40 ( most models )

4.8:1 in turbo diesel ute with the BIG H260 rear centre ( most models again ).
