Change of Name

Post by Whistler »

I've decided to change my user name on this BB from Black Roza (hardly creative) to Whistler.

The exhaust whistle that's been there since I bought the car is starting to grow on me and I now call my Feroza "Whistler".

It's not going to stop me from getting a new exhaust system though!

Ummmmmmmmmm, maybe not. I've changed the name in my profile and submitted it. It says it's successfully updated, but then still shows Black Roza.

Any help?

Or the other option is: register again and just don't use your old log in name! :D

Thats what I did when "Ferozious" was in my original username .... I changed it to avoid Besty hunting me down and eating my children :P

Whistler is good.

Darren you might want to check your exhaust manifold, it may be the source of your "whistling." They're very prone to cracking, but it's not obvious until you take the heatshield off.

It's a good excuse to buy extractors- mine's cracked and Im finally getting around to buying some.

Thanks David,
I was already starting to suspect the manifold after reading about their problems.

Extractors and new system are the first things on my "to buy" list, followed by a Tweety Bird spare wheel cover if you'd believe this month's 4WD monthly. :)

Also, I tried registering again but it wouldn't allow the same email address (I've currently only got one).

All,
I followed Besty's advice and PM'd an administrator (RUFF) and asked politely. EASY!

The only problem with that particular Feroza is...............

Ya wouldn't take it serious 4WDing....only good for flat surface mud racing !!

At least mine is more purpose built for Mud, Rocks, Ruts, Sand, Hills.....etc !!
