:x Fester you better watch out for the Super Rangie it's going to be it's last run so no holds bar action. I'm packing a lot of cable ties and Racing tape to hold it together. It's good to see Steve Waterford coming if only the boy's down south had the staying power we might see a few of them compete. Oh well more glory for the Queenslanders!!

Brad

P.S. The team has resirected the rangie after Rocky it goes 2 paint this weekend.

If you are into competitive 4x4 events why not look at some important points about the XI, and see why the XI stands out from other events.

· Venue, Landcruiser Mountain Park situated only 2 hours from Brisbane Airport.

· Realistic priced entry fee. ($1500 & overseas Teams $500)

· Competitive SS over the entire 8 days, making the XI the longest hardcore 4x4 event in Australia.

· Winch Challenge format.

· 40 SS, covering both day & night.

· Day & night GPS SS.

· Set of rules that are very fair and puts all Teams on the same level playing field regardless of where you come from.

· Very friendly & helpful officials.

· Base camp for the 7 of the 8 days, with showers & toilets.

· Family & supporters can camp with you for under $200 per vehicle, yes per vehicle!

· Welcome BBQ, half way presentation dinner & sit down Final Presentation dinner on Saturday night.

· All Team members will receive:- Personalized embroidered shirt, XI Competitor cap, XI stubby cooler, XI “T-Shirt”

· At the 2005 Presentation Dinner entrants took home a minimum of $500 in sponsors products, 2006 will see an increase in this value.

The XI Competition Manager will:-

· Be fair and open in any decisions that have to be made before, during and after the XI.

· Communicate to all Competitors daily.

· Treat everyone with the respect they deserve.

· Make the XI an event that you will remember in the years ahead.

If you need to know anymore about this great event, call me direct on (07) 5498 6962 or 0418 745 830.

Regards,

David Metcalfe :) :) :)

Have got a couple of overseas navi's who are waiting the call.

Talk to me direct.

Cheers David (MMM) :) :) :)

PS. Steve spoke to your new codriver, he has booked his airfare and has also joined Weight Watches to try and get down to a trim 150KG. He is hoping to be able to achieve this by the XI.

My Trucks all Pretty I've sent it to to the engine shop to get some more horses. I was going to drop a new donk in it but decided against it as time is running short to iron out any bugs. (Better the devil you know) I' m going up the sunday before to set up my camp TJm have kindly let me their marquee to sleep under so plenty of room. Anthony flyes in earlier in the week before the XI so where going up with Truck on Wednesday before to do some GPS training to get it fresh in our minds if anyone is coming up early make sure you call in an say hello.
