we have a much more idealic spot for competitors and marshals out of the wind and weather this year.

Sorry every one else no camping on site but there is plenty of local accomodation in warragul, trafalgar, darnum etc.

Funny that as I think its the worst place for a 4x4 event if you are a spectator, have to walk forever and once you get there the action is still afair distance away from you most of the time. It is cool if your driving/competing but

They are probably still going, there was about 10 cars backed up at the sectino at the bottom of the hill waiting when we left.
No offence to anyone, but if thats a typical days competition and normal speed between runs, the people on my club's run there wouldnt go again.

That was the slowest competition I've ever seen.. Just the time between runs, and nobody knowing or telling the crowd why... At least if we knew what the holdups were, it would have been understandable.

Sounds like a normal winch challenge to me, they nearly allways run slow.
They never have anybody informing the spectaters about anything, not even the scoring system or who is leading the event at any time.
I had more fun at home today then I`ve ever had spectating at a winch challenge event.
How ever with all that said if you are a compeditor in a winch challenge they are huge amounts of fun
