Post by muddy80s »

HI GUYS IM SURE SOMETHING SIMILAR WOULD HAVE BEEN ASKED BEFORE HAD A SEARCH BUT COUDNT FIND WHAT I WANTED SO HERE GOES. CAN I SIMPLY CHANGE MY 80 SERIES DIFF CARRIERS INTO MY 100 SERIES. BOTH FRONT AND REAR HAVE AIR LOCKERS. I THINK MAYBE THE SPLINES MIGHT BE DIFFERENT BETWEEN THE 2 IS THIS RIGHT. IM THINKING OF CHANGING ALL MY GOOD GEAR FROM MY 80 ONTO MY 100 SERIES .I KNOW THE HOUSINGS ARE DIFFERENT BUT WOULD LIKE TO PUT THE STRONGER DIFFS IN THE 100 SERIES.ALSO CAN THE 6 STUD HUBS BE CHANGED ONTO THE 100 SERIES TOO THANKS WAYNE

The front diff is interchangeable. The rear diff will require modification .grinding the housing different axles on the 100s.
Better to swap the lockers to the 100s diffs.

If he swaps the locker to the 10-0 diff then the rear axels still wont fit.. he will have to use the 80 ones
