I reckon you should throw away the rest of the body and build the toob onto the chassis in the same way as Nam's buggy was built... then just put the bonnet back on (nothing looks better than a beat on bonnet) and add a fire wall and it's all systems go...
i'm thinking that after seeing the breakages at the oz-rock event that hilux diffs aren't going to hold together very well (depending on tyre size of course)... how about thinking ahead some and buying some monster diffs to run under you zook that you could then transfer onto a buggy at a later date?

More seriously the Zook will just be a fun Zuggy until i know what i want in a buggy. I figure the only way to know what i want in a buggy is some wheel time. This seems to be the quick and easy way to get some wheel time on the rocks.

One sure thing is that EVERYTHING will break eventually. Update: All parts with the exception of the rear disconnect have now been aquired just need to fix the busted bits on the Hilux to get it out of theway and then start cutting up the Zook yet again.

OK, not a lot of news but have many plans set up.
Rangie being picked up next week
Hilux diffs semi rebuilt already, just working out weather to run welded front and rear or LSD front welded rear.
All of the link mounts for the rear are sitting there ready to go on.
So hopefully within the next three or four weeks we'll be rolling again.
