4WD club?

Post by GU BUG »

Yeah yeah I know do a search .

Fact is if everyone done a search then we wouldn't have much to discuss :?.

I'm looking @ joining a club that has a bit to do with the comp scene & was thinking maybe Yarra Valley or On Track 4wd cub would be the way to go . Thing is, I live in Hoppers Crossing so it's bit of a hike for me though I guess it's not too bad heading out that way for a drive once a month :?.

Can anyone who's in either of these clubs give me a quick run down on how often trips are held, hard/medium/touring? what areas you drive, etc, etc......

I've been to a couple of club meetings over this way but it's more family outtings in Pajero's sort of driving (not that there's anything wrong with that ;)). I'd be more than happy to make the drive to meetings if it's the right club for me .

Cheers
Joe

Hey Joe,

Check out the website www.ontrack.org.au

We will be running this years Vic Winch, we marshall and support Cruiserkhana, Go Down, Ateco, Pajero Challenge, as well as helping setup and assist other clubs with comps.

Our club has the privelige of being invited to allot of events including a couple in NZ due to the way we conduct oursleves and our professionalism on the courses. Our members have filled 4 out of the top 10 placings alone at Ateco this year! As well as OBC...

our meeting spot isn't far off the freeway so it would be @45-55 minute journey to get over for the meetings.

As far as trips go - we get out each month and are looking at night drive Fridays - the trips range from tours to animal depending on who's runing it - it'd be fair to suggest that we roam everywhere from Robe to East gippsland on trips and have a good knowledge of where to play.

Essentially come to the next meeting - see if you like the atmosphere and go from there! We are pretty laid back, not An6l and are allot of fun!

I'm the club president so feel free to PM me with any queries.

Paulo. ;)
