Yep ive got 3 inch body lift, I did trim my guards but not at the top, only at the front and rear of the guards all around for the 38's.
When the 38s wear ill go up to 42's and trim the guards back more but never any more lift

so 5" lift is enough to clear them
4" you need to trim guards.
Either:
- 2 inch body and 2 inch springs ( light guard trip required )
or
- 3 inch body and 2 inch springs ( guard trip not needed )
U can also do something such as:
- 2 inch body, 2 inch springs, and 2 inch extended shackles to clear
them without guard cutting.
screwy

I tried both, extended shackles will put way more stress on the chassis mounts unless you reinforce them... but I reckin their the pick of the above. 35's will fit easy
God of Magnificant Ideas!

Shark
WHY????
Body lift wont do anything apart from lift the centre of gravity of the car...
It will be unstable for that reason only. If your springs are good u wont have a problem.
They are bolted down and therefore can barely move.
2-3 inch spring lift would be more unstable than a body lift.
screwy

IF you go up to that sized tyre you WILL need to cut the guards a little bit to clear the tyres...... unless you spring over....NZ4x4 wrote:They should fit without any problems? i dont realy want any major rubbing issues and i dont want to have to cut the shit out of the guards
