drain plug gq rear diff

Post by ausoops »

do the drain plugs for the rear diffs of gq's vary? or does one size fit all?

i was changing the diff oils saturday and did front allright but i've dragged the rear over some rocks and collapsed the square drive inwards and the driver wont' fit in no more.

simliar happened to mine..

two options...

get a cold chisel and smack it back square again until you can fit the drive

If its that bad...

weld a 1/2 or a 5/8th nut onto it and undo it
custom bar work, 4x4 parts, trailers, anything out of steel/alloy :D
