Seats with seatbelts

Post by landy_man »

Anyone know of any cars besides Range Rovers that have the seat belts integrated with the seat itself... and yes I know 2000 model BMW convertables have em  ....
But after something a little cheaper ;)

My neighbour has power operated SAAB leather seats for sale and he was explaining that they have in built seatbelts. Not sure if it is the seatbelt anchorage or the whole seat belt system. They are in top condition and I think he wanted about #500 per pair.

Will check if you want me to.

Somerville, Victoria which is on the Mornington Peninsula.

I last spoke to him about the seats about 2 weeks ago so I can ask him tomorrow.

I was told by an engineer today that if you vehicle did not come with seats that have seatbelt storks or seatbelt built into them then you will have to reinforce the seat mounting points cause seats with sorks or belt are under a hell of a lot more pressure in an accident than seats without them cause your seat is taking all the force that your seatbelt anchorage points take.
My 2 cents
