I am almost ready to launch the web site but before it gets launched, I'd like to ask you all with the new Lux to submit your vehicle on there with info+pics. I'd really appreciate it.
The site is at http://www.newhilux.net/dev which is temporary until it goes live in the next couple of days.

Would love to see some pics of this one

Well done to Dave with the launch of his new Hilux Site. Its obvious a lot of hard work and time has gone into this. Lets get behind him and support it.
Rich.
On the subject of canopies, how does one seal the tailgate properly?
What i've done to try and seal the tailgate on my lux is this:
This is a strip of one inch wide adhesive rubber which seals the lower gap between the tailgate and the tray. I think it is called rubbertek?
This seal is called pinchwell i think. It seals the vertical gap on either side of the tailgate. It just pushes straight onto a strip of metal that is already on the tray.
This is the cross section of the seal.
I bought all of this from clark rubber. pretty cheap. I haven't had a big run on the dirt since installing these seals but they seem to fill most of the gaps.

Sorry it's taken me so long to reply only just found this question, the lift in my truck is called a IFS smart lift, fitted and supplied by the Ultimate Suspension in Minto Sydney, the V6 is pretty good on fuel for such a big motor in the car meter reads 12.8 Km/L, but don't forget that's with 33" tyres.
