1l side draw carb on a 1.3

Post by Puk »

Is it possible to modify things a little and put the 1l side draw carby on the 1.3l engine? The 1l carb seems to be more economical as well as less problematic. Would the (slightly) bigger engine suck enough fuel?

I am about to do the 1.3 into a 1l conversion, so the thread on this in the Sierra bible has been fantastic to look out for possible problems.

I'll let y'all know how it goes.

Most people quote about the same fuel figures between the 1.3 and 1.0 ltr.
I'd like to fit a larger carby to my 1ltr.

Experience is something you don't get, until just after you need it.
