Does any one know where you can get a copy of the Australian Design and Regulations from. Transport Dept wants $74, to email me a copy.

Im sure you could get numerous people to chuck in $ since most people here are always asking questions regarding it... buy it adn flog it for $10 a copy.. me thinks you could clean up

Spefically ADR 24 and 42, and the one that relates to the distance that the light must prodrude in the from of the vehicle, (e.g. roog mounted light).

I emailed yhe bastards the other day asking for just 2 specific adr's :bad-words: ,they emailed em to me free,no probs.And so they bloody well should.

ADR24 relates to tyre placards, ADR42 is a general saftey ADR and doesn't have alot to do with headlighting.

Specifically what information are you after? :?

He said he wanted 24, 42 and the one for lighting (obviously didn't know the number). CHeck the list here:

Interested in ADR lighting stuff, particularly for gas discharge standards, used dotars site to get adr numbers, then via google (australia) search for each adr, got to comlaw reference and could download word/pdf etc versions of the ADR. (ADR 77 for gas discharge headlights)
Worth a try for a 'free' version
