G'day fellas,
Am deciding on tyres as mine are starting to get low so want to source some info from your experiences.
Would like to fit 32/11.5x15 Wrangler MTR's to my IFS front 2003 Lux.
I know another bloke on this forum fitten them on 15x7" rims and says they rub abit. Ive already trimmed the plastic and abit of metal at the back inside end of the front wheels arches, so I got an inch extra clearance there but it's the rubbing on the sway bar that I wouldnt be happy with as he says he gets on his on full lock and I get on my lux now with BFG AT's 265/75x16's.
Would I need to get Landcruiser offset on the 15x8 sunraysias to stop them from rubbing on the sway bar, and if I do this wont moving the wheels outwards via offset make it hit the rear of the front guard on lock.
Any info and accompanying pics would be great and appreciated.
Thanks for your help,
Max.

Max,
I got 33x10.5 on 15x8 Patrol/Crusier offsets (1 inch im lead to believe). Wheels rub on the sway bar at full lock and on the back of the wheel arch on mid lock and full wheel upward movement. You can limit the rubbing on the sway bar by adjusting the limiting bolts on the back of the wheel, have a look. But Ive found that I hardly do much wheeling at full lock, and if so, only in low range and slowly so rubbing the sway bar isnt a major issue for me.
I got 50mm body lift and wound the torsion bars up a fair way. When I had the 33s on my 15x7 rims (now daily drivers with 31s) they still rubbed on sway bar and wheel arch back. Now with 15x8, its worse.
I think 33s are a tad too big, mb the 32s will just fit.
Im gonna fit some upper knuckle spacers to get another inch. Can always do with an extra inch my g/friend always says
Hope this helps.
